  • Do Not Use Bleach to Kill Mold!  It's like giving the mold CPR!  Most people mix four parts of water to one part of bleach; However, the one part "kills", but the other four parts of water will "revive" the mold.
  • Dryer Sheets contain oil which sticks to the exhaust piping and the lint builds up restricting air flow - which is one of the major causes of house fires.  The restricted air flow also causes the computer chip in the dryer to overheat and burn out.  Dryer venting should be cleaned out every six months.
  • TIP:  Before you move into your new house, have your dryer venting cleaned!  It may be moldy or a source of fire and dryer damage.
  • Do Not call a general contractor because he is not trained or certified in mold abatement.
